This month, our ecology consultants have been busy continuing to undertake seasonal surveys. We have also undertaken GPS drone surveys of the property, recording the topography and boundary conditions. All of this data gathering will help inform next steps for the site.

At the beginning of the month, we welcomed a reporter from the Manchester Evening News on a tour of Spodden Park. Together, we walked the perimeter of the site, keeping a safe distance from the buildings, and discussed our ongoing efforts to keep the site safe. We also shared some of the challenges we have faced with multiple trespassing incidents and fly-tipping, whilst we try and complete our ongoing surveys to inform the future of the site. We also reported that the site sustained significant wind damage during Storm Claudia, with a number of metal cladding sheets being blown off some buildings. Our team visited site on Saturday 22^nd November to resecure these sheets and repair the damage. We had a telehandler and a team of workers on site to carry out this work and to check the remainder of the site for security breaches.
